GIVE IT A NAME festival

HI all.. it's Monday... and i am still recovering from a heavy weekend at the Give It A Name festival at Earls Court in London. Loads of great music, cool bands, exhausting interviews.. and fun fun times.
The arena is so fricking huge.. i had never been there before.. and it totally blew me away. I dont know how many thousand of people were there.. but from up where i was.. it looked mental. Between doing interviews for the Rock Show.. and video interviews for an upcoming Kerrang podcast.. and then some video interviews for an Atticus DVD that might come out this year.. there were only a few moments to check out the music on stage, but everything i saw was great. Highlights? Attack In Black, AFI, The Used, Jimmy Eat World, Ignite, Sparta, Alexisonfire.. and more.
Strangely enough.. and i never thought i'd hear myself say this, in light of the names i have just mentioned, but the most mind-altering performance was probably Enter Shikari. The crowd was MASSIVE, the dance beats were REDICULOUS.. and the whole audience was raving and freaking out with glowsticks.. a pretty impressive sight. I don't quite know how it happened, but they are totally totally huge. Check out this shitty pic I took on my phone of the crowd during their set. Yikes.

Did you go? have fun?

My report from the show will be on air tonight as part of the ROCK SHOW between 12 and 2 on BBC radio One. Check it out.
