Uxfest was awesome!

Hello! So.. it's Monday night, and I'm still recovering from the carnage of yesterday's Uxfest event in London, at the Islington Academy.
It was a MASSIVE event.. about 1000 peope showed up (it sold out!), and around 20 bands played. I didn't see all of them (of course), as bands were playing at the same time on different stages.. but thought that I would pop up a blog to mention two bands, in particular, that I thought were pretty awesome.
First up: Engel (from Sweden, featuring members of The Haunted). They were one of the only bands not from the UK, and travelled a really long way to come and play the fest - good lads! Another good band during the day were Outcryfire (think that's one word..).. British dudes with some serious metal stodge, and a frontman that goes ape-shit and grins at people (which is always nice at a metal show).
Did a load of silly interviews in the disabled toilet (the quietest and emptiest place in the building) and perhaps Radio One Rock Show will nab some of those soon..
